Bron was Environmental Coordinator for ACI Glass NSW. She moved to Qld in 1996 and established the Queensland operations of the Beverage Industry Environment Council (BIEC) working across Queensland to support council recycling and waste minimisation programmes. She was a board member of the Queensland Recycling Advisory Council (QRAC), was involved with LAWMAC waste programmes, oversaw sponsorship for Keep Australia Beautiful and sat on the Queensland Government’s Waste Policy stakeholder group. Bron led a team that reviewed Education Queensland’s sustainability encompassing facilities, utilities, contracts, partnerships and curriculum.
Since 2002, she has consulted for organisations in both the public and private sectors including the Queensland EPA and councils in Queensland and NSW; auditing, reviewing, training and supporting them to achieve viable and strategic outcomes in a range of waste, packaging, environmental, water, energy and sustainability programmes.
Most recently for APC, Bron has project managed the development of Council waste strategies and assessing operational matters to determine equitable, viable and beneficial collections and processing options considering cost, regulatory impacts and identifying new opportunities.
