Since 1995 Ian, as Manager and statistician of his own consultancy, Statworks Pty Ltd, has been involved in over 400 waste management projects for APC. In addition, Ian has been involved in numerous innovative waste-related statistical consultancy projects for government clients and APC. Ian is APC’s resident Statistician who develops statistical methodologies, determines sample sizes, undertakes sample selection, oversees data entry and undertakes analysis of collected data. Clients can have total confidence in the data that they receive.
Ian is a Member, Statistical Society of Australia and has formal qualifications in Bachelor of Science (Macquarie University) 1981, Diploma of Education, Secondary (Sydney Institute of Education) 1984 and a Master of Applied Statistics (Macquarie University) 1992. Ian was awarded his PhD in Biostatistics in 2013 from the University of Sydney.
