Matthew is an accredited waste auditor and one of Australia’s most experienced waste audit supervisors, having worked on over 400 domestic waste audits
undertaken by APC since June 1997 a period of 22 years.
Matt has been involved in all types of waste audits including domestic, commercial, public place, special event, landfill, transfer station, MRF residual, kerbside recycling, FOGO and CDS/CRS streams, bulky waste in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations throughout Australia and UK. Matt has worked on the largest disposal based landfill, bulky waste, kerbside and CDS projects. He lead the kerbside audit team for CDS throughout 2018 and managed the data delivery of the 2019 SSROC regional audit over 25 consecutive weeks.
Matt is responsible for day to day compliance with APC’s OH&S policy and procedures. Matt supervises all staff and waste sorting activities and is responsible for data recording and management on all of our
audit projects.
Under Matt’s leadership APC is proud of its zero workers compensation claims history during the auditing phase of all our projects – due to Matt’s supervision, training and induction programs.
Matt has completed training in Asbestos Handling, holds a Senior First Aid Certificate, White Card, accredited with Zero Waste South Australia (ZWSA) as a waste auditor and by NSW EPA and is an accredited Bin Trim Assessor.
