Daniella has been working for the past 15 years on various projects regarding sustainability, environmental and social positive impacts, both for private sector and Local Government, with vast experience and skills in developing, implementing, managing and monitoring projects and multi-disciplinary teams in that area.

 

Her career began in Brazil, working with waste management systems implementation, contaminated soil remediation and pollution avoidance, as well as industrial environmental licensing. In Australia, she had effectively developed and managed programs aligned with Local Government Net Zero, Environmental Sustainability and Waste Strategies. She developed programs to enhance recycling and avoid waste to landfill for Multi-Unit Dwellings, implement bulky waste clean collection systems for Local Government, as well as award winning litter avoidance and illegal dumping reduction programs Daniella is passionate about working with organisations to achieve significant environmental positive impact, especially through stakeholder engagement, behaviour change and data monitoring. She also has a strong academic background, which includes a Law Degree with specialization in Environmental Law, an Academic Master Degree in Environmental Health, as well as specialisations in Environmental Education and Social Development, teaching sustainability in various post-graduate courses.
