APCs Director Anne Prince led the development of the first indigenous waste strategy in Australia on behalf of the Qld Govt. and LGAQ. Respecting Country – A sustainable waste strategy for First Nation communities was launched by Minister Leeanne Enoch at the Indigenous Leaders Forum in Cairns on April 28, 2021. The strategy provides a roadmap to transition to improved practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
